Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Book2KindleBot handles data when users interact with the Telegram bot and when an administrator authorizes Gmail API access.
Information the app processes
The app stores Telegram user identifiers, optional Telegram usernames, users' Kindle email addresses, file delivery records, and the Gmail refresh token granted by an administrator. Uploaded book files are processed only to deliver them to the configured Kindle email address.
Google user data
The app uses Google user data only to send email through the authorized Gmail account. The app requests
the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope. It does not read, list, modify, delete,
or monitor Gmail messages.
The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How Gmail authorization is stored
After authorization, the app stores a Gmail refresh token so it can send book delivery emails after the administrator completes OAuth consent. The refresh token is encrypted at rest in the application database and is used only to obtain access tokens for sending email.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded book files are stored temporarily during conversion and delivery, then deleted after the delivery attempt completes. Delivery metadata may be retained for operational logs and troubleshooting. Users may contact us to request deletion of stored Telegram account data, Kindle email addresses, and delivery configuration data.
Sharing, sale, and prohibited uses
The app does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it for credit decisions, or use it to train machine learning models. The app does not transfer Google user data to other apps except as necessary to use Google APIs for sending email requested through the service.
Revoking access
You can revoke the app's Gmail access at any time in your Google Account security settings under third-party app access. After access is revoked, the bot administrator must authorize Gmail again before the app can send delivery emails.
